Solution
High-Performance Machining with WTO Live Tools
Hasegawa widely utilizes rotary tools from WTO, Germany’s leading manufacturer of driven tooling. With internal coolant and through-tool coolant supply, stable coolant discharge via oil holes is ensured. Speed-increasing spindles allow machine speeds of 6,000 rpm to be increased up to 18,000 rpm. CoolSpeed technology enables engraving operations up to 45,000 rpm. Hobbing tools for resin machining and torque-up solutions via speed reduction are also available. Please contact us for optimal tooling proposals.
Flexible Automation with Gantry Loader and Bar Feeder
Hasegawa offers flexible automation solutions by combining gantry loader and bar feeder configurations. Input materials are supplied by the bar feeder, while finished parts are unloaded by the gantry loader to prevent surface damage and ensure stable automated operation. Pallet stockers or parts feeders can also be installed on the input side, allowing the gantry loader to handle various workpiece types. For example, with the CW52MY, bar stock up to φ52 can be machined directly, while larger workpieces are supplied from a parts feeder via the gantry loader. Finished parts are discharged using conveyors or chutes, improving overall productivity.
Precision Chuck Solutions Supporting High-Accuracy Machining
Hasegawa has extensive experience in applying diaphragm chucks and precision air chucks, enabling us to propose the most suitable solution for each application. We support multi-layer tube structures, including double-piston types, through-spindle coolant compatibility, and chuck seating detection systems. By optimizing the tube layer configuration, oil-free designs can also be achieved, contributing to maintenance-free operation. In addition, installing a counterbalance inside the chuck enables higher machining accuracy and higher spindle speeds. Our diaphragm chucks have proven operation records up to 12,000 min⁻¹ and are highly evaluated in high-precision machining applications.
